Overview

Bêv-êpíî Sêdè was founded durring the early 13th century in fall of the year 1203, by Falassiel. The establishment of Bêv-êpíî Sêdè was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Bêv-êpíî Sêdè's construction back out of the project. Falassiel pushed on reguardles, and Bêv-êpíî Sêdè was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Bêv-êpíî Sêdè was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Bêv-êpíî Sêdè is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Bêv-êpíî Sêdè is was constructed arround several restrictive baked earthen mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The city rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Bêv-êpíî Sêdè's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. Astonishigly, the unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Bêv-êpíî Sêdè gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Bêv-êpíî Sêdè makes it abundantly clear the city suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.

Cultural Notes

The locals are in a state of despair and dull apathy. They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Bêv-êpíî Sêdè's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is long in Bêv-êpíî Sêdè.

The Smilodon, Homotherium near Bêv-êpíî Sêdè are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Bêv-êpíî Sêdè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves gestures to channel Abjuration energies of tier 3 via oratory performances.
